Amazing Ride!

Great and fun experience! I highly recommend this for your trip! Oliver was a great guide and we even got to see whales! These jet skis can go fast!

Brilliant Fun!

Good communication, well-organised and brilliant fun. Nice to see things from the different perspective of the sea, and if you’re fortunate you’ll get to see dolphins and whales too, but just riding the jetski is brilliant fun. My 14 year old daughter rode pillion with me and she absolutely loved it. Not cheap but well worth it.

Great Time!

My son and I rented two singles on 6/14/24 and had a blast with these guys. First time we have rode on jet skis in the ocean. We booked a 10AM so to avoid the afternoon rains. The coastline had rough waves that morning, I am guessing 6 to 8 foot swells that made it even more fun. Got a bit calmer when entering the adjacent bays in front of the Manual Antonio beaches. How rough or calm the waters are depends on the time of year and weather conditions. But it was good they still took us out. Yamaha equipment they have handled the waves with no problem and I felt stable the entire time. Due to construction this summer, parking can be a mystery when you arrive, but proceed through the guard gate, say hola to the attendant, then go underneath the building, turn right and follow the gravel path out to the outside lot. Parking is free and the marina staff patrols the lot. Staff is very responsive on WhatsApp to the number provided in the listing.

Great Family Trip!

Great trip for our family of five. Our kids: 12, 13, 17 each got their own jet ski. Our guide made sure everyone was safe the entire time. Would definitely do again!

Whale watching Tour!

Excellent experience on the Whale Watching tour and were lucky enough to go with Jose and Marcelo. We got close enough to the whales to get photos and videos. After that, they took us around the islands and the beaches of Manuel Antonio and snorkeling. They provided fresh fruit and drinks. We would highly recommend a Whale Watching tour!

TRAVEL TIPS WHEN VISITINGCostaRica

1. Passport & Entry Requirements

  • Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.
  • U.S. citizens don’t need a visa for stays of up to 90 days, but you must show proof of onward travel (like a return ticket).

2. Pack for Diverse Weather

  • Costa Rica has microclimates:
  • Beach destinations like Guanacaste or Manuel Antonio are hot and sunny.
  • Rainforests (Arenal or Monteverde) can be cooler and wetter.
  • Bring light, breathable clothing, but pack a rain jacket, hiking shoes, and sunscreen.

3. Plan for Adventure & Relaxation

  • Costa Rica is famous for adventure: zip-lining, hiking volcanoes, surfing, and wildlife spotting.
  • Balance it with time to relax on stunning beaches like Playa Flamingo or Tamarindo.
  • Many tours fill up quickly, so book in advance during peak season (December-April).

4. Understand Local Currency & Payments

  • The currency is the Costa Rican colón, but U.S. dollars are widely accepted.
  • Use small denominations for ease of transactions.
  • Credit cards are commonly accepted in tourist areas, but it’s wise to carry cash for rural spots.

5. Respect the “Pura Vida” Lifestyle

  • Costa Ricans, or Ticos, live by “Pura Vida,” meaning “pure life” or a laid-back, positive approach to life.
  • Be patient and polite—it’s a slower, relaxed pace of life.
  • Learn a few Spanish phrases like “Gracias” (Thank you) or “¿Cuánto cuesta?” (How much does it cost?).
